They’ll see that someone sent them a Spark, without your name attached. Even if they haven’t joined yet, it’ll be there when they sign up with that number.

Will they know it’s me?

Not until it’s mutual. A match reveals your full name and number to both of you. Before that, they can use one Hint to reveal one random digit of your number, and the digit stays the same each time they look.

What is a Spark?

A Spark is a private signal to one person, sent to a number you already have. They don’t need to be on Dono yet.

What is a Hint?

Received a Spark? Use a Hint to reveal one random digit of their number. Only the recipient can use it, the digit stays the same each time you look, and there is one Hint per Spark.

What if they don’t have Dono?

You can still send a Spark. It waits quietly, and they see it when they join Dono with the same number. Joining alone never creates a match.

Can I take a Spark back?

No. A Spark is final, so review the number before sending—even if the other person hasn’t joined yet.

Can I use Dono outside India?

Dono is India-only for now. We may launch globally in the future. For now, signing in needs an Indian mobile number with the +91 country code.
