About these Terms

These Terms govern your use of Dono, operated by Ubiq Apps Private Limited ("we", "us" or "our"). By using Dono, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Contact us at hello [at] ubiq [dot] dev.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information. Agreeing to these Terms does not give consent on behalf of another person or authorize unrelated marketing.

Eligibility and your account

Dono is for adults aged 18 or over and currently supports Indian mobile numbers. You must be legally able to enter this agreement, provide accurate account information and use a number you are authorized to control. Phone verification does not verify age, identity or personal character.

Keep your account secure. Do not share verification codes or let others impersonate you. Contact us if your account is compromised or you lose access to your number.

Privacy and interactions

Use Dono only with adults whose numbers you obtained lawfully. Having a number does not mean its owner has agreed to receive contact. Respect objections and do not use Dono to investigate or expose someone. by using the app, you agree to send sparks to only the numbers that you have obtained lawfully from the person that owns that number.

A recipient can use a Hint to see one digit of a Spark sender’s number in its actual position before a match. A mutual match reveals the participants’ names, phone numbers and profile gender choices to each other. These disclosures can identify you; complete anonymity is not guaranteed. A Spark or match does not oblige anyone to reply, meet or continue contact.

Purchases and credits

Prices and pack contents are shown before purchase. Spark and Hint credits are separate, non-transferable service credits, not money. They do not expire while your account remains open. Credits are added once payment is confirmed. Promotional allowances and referral offers are subject to the eligibility shown in the service; recreating an account does not renew previously claimed offers.

An accepted Spark uses a credit whether or not the recipient joins, responds or receives a notification. Accepted Sparks cannot be withdrawn individually. Buying credits does not guarantee delivery, a match or a personal outcome.

For payment errors, unauthorized charges or refund requests, contact hello [at] ubiq [dot] dev or the payment service used for your purchase. Applicable refund procedures and mandatory consumer rights remain available. Refunds may be provided at our discretion and no longer after 24 hours of purchase being made. Refunds will not be provided for used items.

Deleting an account forfeits its remaining positive credits and does not itself request a refund.

Referrals

Referral sharing is optional. Your referral link includes your phone number, and reward progress may allow someone to infer a signup. Share only through lawful, welcome communication. Do not create false accounts, misrepresent rewards or use unsolicited bulk invitations.

Acceptable use

Do not harass, stalk, threaten, coerce, impersonate or defraud anyone; scrape or trade personal information; use bought or leaked phone lists; send spam; bypass security or opt-outs; or manipulate accounts and rewards. Do not share another person’s private information without a lawful basis.

Minors must not use Dono. Child sexual abuse or exploitation, grooming, trafficking, hate and other unlawful conduct are prohibited. Report safety concerns to hello [at] ubiq [dot] dev.

Account closure and restrictions

You can stop using Dono at any time and request deletion through Settings or hello [at] ubiq [dot] dev. Requests are processed manually within 7 working days (Monday to Friday, India time), excluding the request day. Your account stays active until processing is complete. The Privacy Policy explains what is removed and retained.

We may restrict access or remove information where reasonably necessary to address misuse, protect users or comply with law. You may contact us to ask for a review. We will provide reasons where lawful and practicable.

Intellectual property and responsibility

We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use Dono in accordance with these Terms. Dono’s software, designs, branding and other materials remain protected by applicable intellectual-property law. Do not copy or misuse them, bypass access controls or reverse engineer the service except where permitted by law.

You retain rights in information you provide and allow us to use it as necessary to operate the service as described in the Privacy Policy. Take care when sharing information or contacting others. We cannot recall copies another person has made.

We aim to keep Dono available, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted, error-free service or particular outcomes. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits your statutory privacy, consumer or other rights.

Changes, applicable law and contact

We may update these Terms and will show the revised date here. We will give reasonable advance notice of material changes, unless urgent legal or safety needs require otherwise. Continued use after notice and the updated date constitutes acceptance. Where separate consent is required, we will request it. You may still exercise privacy rights or request deletion without accepting updated Terms.
